Either you use the services of a professional or perhaps write your own ads, you certainly want your ad so that shows up better than similar ads. You want some sort of advertising where your potential customers will read, remember, and carry it out!
So how do you get started? Here I will share tips about creating brilliant advertisement, and can win the hearts of your customers!
How to Build Your Advertisement
1. Begin With a Great Title or Headline
Did you know that the majority of visual readers often read the ad title for at least 2 or 3 times more than advertising content? That's why the title of your ad is worth at least half of the cost of advertising. Suppose you spend around 40 million to advertise in a newspaper once, hence the title of the ad is worth at least 20 million! For the ad title that is worth a lot like that, it is appropriate to clarify your services or products, the advantages of using the product, and of course the other interesting things that can attract the attention of your target market.
Although slightly better, but do not be afraid to write a rather long title. A study showed that the title of the ad consists of 10 words or more, and contains news and important information, tends to defeat the short titled ads.
Some exact word or phrase that you can embed into your ad title such as: 'How-to', 'Warning', 'Needed', 'Revealed', 'comparison', and so on. It sounds cliché, but powerful!
2. Create Interesting Content of Your Advertisement
The purpose of the content of an advertisement is to promote your product or service, so that the target market is compelled to buy. The first sentence of your ad aims to attract the reader to read the second sentence of the ad and so on ... So I would advise you to make your ad as if talking directly to your customer; just use the words that they use. If you're selling medical devices, use jargon phrases commonly used by the medical community. If you sell bulk products, be careful with the use of abstract words and complex sentences. Use a phrase commonly used in everyday life.
3. Show What Your Product Can Do
Try reviewing your products or services. What distinguishes your products and services from your competitors? Why consumers should buy your product? What are the benefits? As a consumer, I need to know the things that I mentioned above quickly! I do not even care about the fact that your business has been started since 1919, or maybe the fact that your company is using cutting-edge technology. (Oh, come on!). What is the advantage of using your product for me? Tell me quickly. Research shows that readers will get bored and move on to other things after reading the first 50 words of your ad. So once again, point out the benefits quickly! You probably will not get a second chance.
4. Use Only One Marketing Message in Single Advertisement
Good ad sales have only one idea only. For example if you have two or more different products that you are throwing into the market, you should create an ad for each product. Never make your customers giddy with having multiple marketing messages in one advertisement, and always remember that they only have a few seconds to digest your marketing messages.
5. Support your Product with the Facts
The more facts stated will increase your sales. A study reveals that the success of an ad ratio tends to increase when information about the facts regarding the product increases. The reason is very simple. Your customers are not stupid! They are your best friends. You have underestimated their intelligence by believing that a few sentences and short slogan was able to convince them to buy your product. Your customers want to make an absolute decision, and they need additional information about your product.
You may be in a situation where your competitors are selling similar products. Rather than describe the benefits or differences are not significant, you should use concrete facts!
