Well in this post I will share about some freebie sites that I often visit. These sites provide a few items that can be downloaded for free as inspiration material, such as photos, brushes, fonts, textures and more. And if you are also into graphic arts and or interested in becoming a graphic designer, here are 15 freebie sites that should be explored to hone your inspiration.

1. CGtextures.com | Textures for 3D, graphic design and Photoshop!
CGtextures provide thousands more texture options for free, and to download you first need to register and then the quota will be provided a number of downloadable files of 15 MB per day. If you want more, there is also the option of a paid account.
2. Brushking.eu | Free Photoshop Brushes
This site provides a wide collection of brushes grouped into categories for easy searching. The categories include Abstract, Border / Box, Drawings, Exclusive, Fractals, Grunge, Hearts, and many more. In addition there is also Photoshop tutorials and news about the new items in the world of graphic design.
3. Freeiconsweb.com | Icons, Free Icons, Png Icons, Desktop Icons
As the name implies, this site provides a diverse collection of icons that can be downloaded for free. I am sure you would love to hang out here. They have nice stuff!
4. Urbanfonts.com | Free Fonts, Cool Fonts
On this site there is a large collection of fonts that can be downloaded free. We can easily select the required font as each font is displayed in a preview of which is quite convenient for viewing.
5. Smashingmagazine.com | For Professional Web Designers and Developers
There are several websites that offer free items (freebies), and one of them is in Smashing Magazine. At this site we can download the icon sets, Word Press themes, PSD files, tutorials and so forth.
6. Freevectors.net | Download Free Vector Art, Images & Vector Graphics
This site provides a lot of stock vector charming, but most are the work of the other sites. So we will transfer automatically to the original site when selecting a vector file provided.
7. Stockvault.net | Free Photos - Free Images
The existence of image / photo is also one of the important components for inspiration on graphic design activities. Well, this site provides a variety of image collections available for download. However, some image linked to other image provider sites, such as dreamstime.com. So we are required to register on the site before downloading.
8. Flickr.com/creativecommons/ | Flickr: Creative Commons
The link is still connected to the Flickr.com website, but the page is dedicated to showing the works of the account holder.
Some things to consider when you download the images are some limitations on use group (attributes) we need to know, namely:
- Attribution. Image that fall into this group provides flexibility for image users to copy, distribute, publish and display the image if the image users mentioning the source or owner.
- Noncommercial. Image in this group may be duplicated, distributed and displayed only for non-commercial purposes.
- No Derivative Works. Image may be copied and distributed only in the original condition and appearance is not in the form of variation or modification.
- Share Alike license. This group is for images that can be distributed only in the form of variation or modification in accordance with the work produced.
Sometimes there are some images that combine several attributes, so it helps if we understand first and think about the consequences before using it. Consider before posting, right?

There were about 158 patterns that can be downloaded for free. Unfortunately we have to be patient in selecting as the unavailability of the search box to search for specific pattern category.

Like Smashing Magazine, the site also provides free items (freebies), which is divided into several categories, namely Motion, Patterns, Photoshop Actions, Plug-Ins, Presentation Templates, Textures, Vectors and Wallpapers.
11. PSD.Tutsplus.com | Adobe Photoshop Tutorials from Beginner to Advanced
The site is often used as a reference for Photoshop artists. But they also provide freebies. Just visit psd.tutsplus.com / category / freebies. There are a variety of free items are available for download, such as wallpaper, brushes, icons, styles, texture and so forth.
12. Betterfonts.com | Thousands of Free Fonts for Instant Download!
Want a unique collection of different fonts? Here is the place. Better fonts provides various types of fonts to choose from, and a preview of the font can be directly seen. Worth a try!
13. Iconfinder.com | Icon Search Engine
First glance look like Google which instantly alluring. For example, I want some icons related to the blog, and then I just type the keyword 'blog' in the search box and Enter. And to be freer in using it, mark the option 'allowed for commercial use (No link required)' in the drop-down menu on the top.
14. PSbrushes.net | Photoshop Brushes, Your Number one source for Photoshop Brushes
Despite carrying a minimalist style but this site is quite comfortable and fully equipped to search for the brush you wish to download. Brush collection grouped by themes in the left sidebar of the site.
15. Qvectors.net | Free Vector Graphics
The site is available in a diverse collection of free vectors that are ready for download. No hassles to download just choose a category, preview them and vector files can be downloaded directly.
